The Candle Learning Center has temporarily closed its doors due to losing our lease! We would like to thank all the people who have donated time and resources to help us get started on our mission and bless those who have continued to provide support.

Although we started with only a student body of seven kids in grades 1 through 5, we kept going until we had 52 students and no longer could have lessons in our teaching space.

We have contacted many charitable organizations worldwide in an effort to obtain the assistance we need to secure adequate funding and supplies to meet our goal to provide no cost learning for kids and adults in Karachi, Pakistan, but have received little response.  Out of over 200 recent contacts the only immediate committment we received for support was from GorgeLink.Org, who expressed regret that they could not help us financially at this time, but offered us space for a web site to promote our mission, and offered to initiate a book drive to aquire books we need for classes and for a library at our facility.
